Myron Tucker, DDS,  is an editor and co-author of six textbooks on Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and has also written 28 chapters in seven other books.  He has lectured extensively both nationally and internationally on many subjects with his primary focus on orthognathic surgery.   Dr. Tucker recently retired from active practice but continues to be active in oral and maxillofacial surgery education and as a consultant to the Carolinas Center for Oral and Facial Surgery.

Mark W. Ochs, DMD, MD, serves as Associate Dean of Hospital Affairs, and as chair of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the School of Dental Medicine.  Dr. Ochs’ academic and surgical interests include orthognathic surgery, facial trauma, implants, and bone grafting/reconstruction.  He maintains an active clinical practice and is an invited lecturer nationally and internationally.
